CIIF-OMG Board Reinforces Commitment To Good Governance

          28 November 2025, Manila – The Coconut Industry Investment Fund Oil Mills Group (CIIF-OMG) Board of Directors strengthened their understanding of the latest developments in fraud risk management as they participated in a workshop titled “Fraud Risk Assessment: Important Element of Good Governance.”

          Organized by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), the two-hour online workshop put emphasis on the importance of fraud risk assessment as an essential aspect of good governance. The workshop is part of ICD’s Masterclass Series, aimed at keeping corporate board updated and well-informed about the latest developments in corporate governance.

          The risk management workshop zeroed in on potential fraud that organizations must take into account when evaluating risk to their objectives. It was facilitated by Ms. Rossana Javier, a teaching fellow at the ICD with over 40 years of experience in audit and management consulting.

          The workshop was attended by Chairperson Ma. Teresa R. Antonio; President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Carlo, Luis P. Rabat; Dir. Ramon A. Salvilla, Sr.; Dir. Oscar T. Pialago; Dir. Nelbert T. Poculan; Dir. Renato P. Legaspi, Sr.; and Dir. Patrick Angelo L. Uy.
